چکیده
An experiment with low-cost capture of conference presentations is described. The goal was to produce material for ondemand replay through the ACM Digital Library. RGB capture was used for high-quality capture of presentation material, and a “capture-and-compress-to-disk” recording that is similar to broadcast industry “live-to-videotape” recording was used to reduce the cost of production. The technology used and the lessons learned are described.
